Hi All,
Just stopping by to post my groups second year student project, realised using the Unity Engine.
What’s interesting is that on the same unit of my course the previous year, the engine used was Torque and no one had any playable demos. This year everyone used Unity and everyone had something playable.
Here’s a video:

It would be great to hear some feedback
Unity rocks!! All education centre should have Unity as their platform to teach student about game development
. It is the best tools and I can’t wait for what Unity 3 going to offer.
I myself am saving up to buy Unity 3.
seems some (design) universities realized unity as a great tool for students to create their first videogames/vr-stuff 8) i´m a student, too and since last year we use unity, too. bye bye virtools
great work for being in the socond year of studying. really really nice!
Thanks for the feedback guys.
Yeah Unity is currently the Engine of choice at our Uni. Hopefully the success of this years projects will mean they’ll buy a Unity pro license for everyone next year
