I’ve thrown together a very rough proof of concept and before i proceed much further would like to know how many people around would actually buy/play this a full game. It’s basically a “clone” to some degree of the trackmania series as those familiar will notice.

Only track 1 is available (its just a test track). You will need to click twice on the track to start the race (first click will select, 2nd click will actually launch it… its just not obvious in this POC build). Standard arrow keys to drive.
None of the other menus/options do anything, this is just to get a rough feel for gameplay, but will have online elements as you can see on the main menu (mostly just online leader boards, etc. I would like to implement a track builder of some degree, but maybe not initially)
I will initially target iOS devices, but would depend on the feedback I get here if I will invest significant time into this type of game, as any feedback might indicate how close I will get to covering costs (such as unity iOS basic)
