Subnautica Unity Crash: Unity 2019.4.9f1_636

Having an Unity issue with Subnautica. The game crashes frequently just giving a Unity error popup and then force close. The stats of my PC while running Subnautica are in the screenshot below and it looks like that isn’t the cause of the error (Value is what my PC stays around, max is only when launching the game) Any help or insight is appreciated.

No, sorry. This is not the right place to get game support.

I’m trying to figure out what this Unity error code means and how it’s resolved??

This isn’t the place for this.

I guess I’m confused how a Unity General Support forum isn’t the place to ask about support for a Unity Error code?

This place is intended for people who use Unity and are making games and want support to help them with the games they are making. It’s not intended as a catch all support for every Unity game ever made.

Not seeing where else I would go for error code help, I’m posting here because someone else posted about the exact same game having Unity errors back in 2020 and people responded with help. https://discussions.unity.com/t/815341

What error code? There’s no error code, just the game crashing and a bunch of logs.

Contact the developers of Subnautica.

You cannot be serious. The error code is in the title, it’s in the screenshot as well. If you can’t help, great, goodbye. I mean seriously, the log even has crash info. Read.

That’s not an error code, that’s just the Unity version the Subnautica devs are using.

If that isn’t an error, then what would an error be? It would certainly be creating a log when a crash occurs correct? If the devs were still actively supporting the game, I’d certainly be going to them. Unfortunately that’s not the case.

It’s just crashing and a window pops up that has the Unity version on it, that’s all, there’s no error code.

As mentioned these forums aren’t support forums for issue with games made in Unity.

Even with that being the case. The crash log is a Unity crash log according to the post I linked of the other user.

I appreciate the links, however this is the Microsoft Store Version, so Steam is likely to not help. And the official forums are shut down. It says on that link that you can no longer post there. As I said before, someone else already posted about crashing issues with this same game in 2020 and was able to get help. Not sure why I’m getting ridiculed for doing the same thing.

Contact the developer, this is a support forum for developers. Unity and no one here can help you, whatever the problem is, it has do be fixed by the developer as it is their codebase. As noted, that is not an error code, and even it if was, there is nothing you can do about it, it needs to be fixed/corrected by the developer of the game.
