Suddenly cannot move things in hierarchy

I have no idea how or when this happened, but I cannot move around objects within my hierarchy. I can’t parent an object to another because I can’t move it. I can’t gran an object and drag it to an empty field within the inspector.

Is there some setting I accidentally activated?

I can still move objects around the scene, add and delete objects, and the like. But any editing I try to do within the hierarchy window is null and void, except to select an object.

I tried resetting the editor; it didn’t change anything.

Probably hit the little lock icon on every editor window.

Oh my hell.

I have a notebook sitting on my desk and didn’t realize that it was holding down the escape key.

Problem solved.

OMG, thank you!!!

I had exactly the same. But it seems that the notebook in my case was a phantom one :smiley:

I have pressed the ESC key a couple of times and everything is working again.
