Seriously, why is this not a thing? I would have thought that someone would have at least asked for this due to the franchise’s popularity. I’d be willing to collab to check the details to make sure each texture/character/weapon/whatever is correct.
Uhh… no. It’s one thing to clone a game’s mechanics… it’s entirely another to completely replicate the art assets. Be original, don’t rip off a popular franchise. Totally ok to make a game like it, but don’t copy the art, dialogue or music or you’re potentially heading for a lot of legal trouble (not to mention alienating a community of developers / artists who understand the moral implications of ripping off someone else’s work).
