I have one small suggestion that could improve everyone’s life: remove the notification dot on Latest Topics:
Reality is, if you stop and think, nobody every really needs to know that there are new topics while they are idle on a page, or reading another thread. If they do, they explicitly go looking for them by clicking on the button.
With the high traffic that this forum has, having the notification dot means that you will see that thing popup all the time while you browse. I imagine for many types of people it can be very distracting.
An alternative would be to make it a shade of grey, so not to call your attention (this would be nice to do also to the one next to My Posts).
I understand it’s a low priority thing (but it’s also pretty easy to do via CSS), so I just wanted to get it out.
