Would love a tutorial on how to get some of the free 3d Character models in the store working with some of the free animation packs.
Stuff like this is a major impediment for those of us who are modeling/animation illiterate.
it’s pretty easy…make sure the model is rigged. If not use Mixamo’s free auto rigger to rig it. Then download the animation you need, and retarget the animation onto the character.
You need to change the rig to Humanoid which the 3ds max ones don’t. I was kinda stuck until I realised that.
