Super cheap models!

In this thread I will present you with some of my low price, low poly, models I am selling on turbosquid! Ever needed a simple model, but all you could find were $100 32,000 poly models? Well I make low poly models that everyone can afford!

Old fashioned terminal model

Price: $1.00
the picture was taken straight out of Unity!
I am currently working on an old fashioned TV that I will upload to turbosquid probably tomorrow.

(I am aware that these models are not professional works of art, but hey what do you expect from a 14 year old kid with loads of homework)

Enjoy!

Sounds good

thank you for your input!

Not bad for a buck. Keep at it.

Really? I thought a buck was too much… Thanks guys!

Well anything less on TS is usually free. Even though your model is basic, it is nicely done with attention to proper UV alignment. That is worth a buck.

Would more people buy these models if they were on the asset store too?

Also here is a WIP pic of that TV. No texture…yet

Looks cool if i would need i would buy, but at the moment i don’t need this…but nice work, maybe iwill buy it later.

Holy cr*p! That’s a sick amoung of polys for such a small model. That type of model could be done with 60-100 polys, and could look just as smooth if you applied smart mesh smoothing groups tactics. How many polys is that exactly?

The following is a 129 poly model. Notice that the screen is smooth even though I just used 9 polys on it. This is due to smoothing groups. It will also make texturemapping the model a lot easier. Speaking of which; all other detail on the model, for instance those lines in the “button part” of your TV, should be done with either just a normal diffuse texture (with some fake lighting) or through normal mapping.

Please take my critique for what it is, a friendly suggestion

Alienchild you are 100 percent correct and I will most likely make another TV because the way my screen was made…didnt turn out well anyways. Thank you very much for the advice!

Started on a custom SCAR gun that consists of seperate parts for animating and such. Here a WIP screen
