Super slow fps was 70 now is .7

I was running my game which is a survival game so there are no buildings or highy poly stuff, and it was running at 70+ fps and now is running at 0.7 fps. The only thing that I did was make a water collider so that whenever you touch it you respawn. Any ideas on why the fps is so low?
Thanks in advanced for all the help.
p.s Im not the best with unity only been using it for 2+ months.

If you have Unity Pro, even a trial of it you can use “Window/Profiler” to see an exact breakdown of the situation you’re dealing with performance-wise.

If you do, and you want to post a screenshot of the Profiler, I could help knock out some ideas for you.

If you don’t, check your lighting, camera render distance, and the big one, physics. Use and abuse layers and adjust your “Edit/Project Settings/Physics” to turn off collision on layers that don’t need to collide with one another. These few things will save you TONS of processing power.
