🤝 Support for an Mobile Trading Card Game Project

:waving_hand: Hi everyone,

We’re looking for passionate and experienced Unity developers to join us in creating an exciting Trading Card Game (TCG) project. This is a part-time, unpaid collaboration until the game starts generating revenue. We’re all working on this alongside our day jobs, but we’re dedicated to making it a success, and once the project becomes profitable, fair compensation will follow.

Who We Are:

  • Nikolas – Game designer and creator of the project
  • Viktor – Lead developer working on implementing the core mechanics
  • We are from Berlin in Germany and want to develop something special. Something from gamers for gamers. This is also our first game that we are developing.

Project Overview:

  • Game Title: Quell (working title)
  • Genre: Trading Card Game with elements of strategy and magic
  • Platform: Mobile (potential for PC later)
  • :warning: Development Status: The core functionality is already complete. Players can build decks, select a deck to play with, find opponents via matchmaking, and battle each other. Now, the focus is on enhancing usability, user interface, adding effects (vfx), and making the game truly polished and engaging.

About the Game:

In “Quell,” players harness a magical substance from another dimension, wielded through cards in strategic battles. The goal is to generate 12 Quell points to win. With a mix of card types players can explore a wide range of strategies.

Requirements:

  • Experience with Unity and C# is essential
  • Ideally, experience with animation and vfx

What We Offer:

  • A passionate team working on an ambitious project with clear goals
  • Creative freedom to contribute and shape the game’s design
  • A flexible, part-time commitment with the potential for long-term collaboration
  • Future financial rewards when the project succeeds
