Support for Geomtery Shaders on OS X

Where can I find an overview of the current Unity supported version of OpenGL?

The forum posts I dug up dates to 2012. My MacBook Pro is of the late 2013 generation, could it be possible that it supports Geometry Shaders?

Trying to assess if I should buy myself a PC to develop on.

AFAIK there is some vague way to do some things on OS X but not well supported by unity and something about it not being totally automatic that it compiles for targets, or something… but generally unsupported. I wish it were more a standard feature, there are a lot of DX10 gpu’s on OS X even if they don’t go all the way with compute shaders and the like. Even just a basic geometry shader would be useful.
