Hi,
don’t know if right place to ask in a 5.3 forum so feel free to redirect to appropiate forum, anyway seems new Windows phones coming nexts week (Lumia 950/XL) have Snapdragon 810 so ARM64 CPUs so hopefully Win Phone 10 has support for ARM64 apps…
in that case any roadmap for support in unity (possibly via ILCPP)…
Hi,
at this point in time, we are not even sure that those phones have 64-bit OSes running on them. It’s doesn’t seem that the current Windows SDK is complete for ARM64, so even if they release a new SDK together with the phones, it will take a while before we can start working on it. That means that it will most definitely not make into 5.3.
However, once we do support it, we will do so on both .NET and IL2CPP scripting backends (with 5.3, we’ll adding support for IL2CPP scripting backend to Windows Store platform when targeting Universal 10 SDK).
