We are a group of developers making a Chrome Extension for you. It will send you notifications when someone has purchased one of your products and plot your financial success in graphs. You will be able to actually see how much revenue you get from each of your packages without counting that yourself. However, we are disappointed to see Publisher account doesn’t provide any OAuth features for accessing user data, thus our only solution is to provide our own login window and use these credentials to request and parse pages of your account.
Would you trust us enough to enter your Asset Store Publisher login data in our authorization frame?
this would be an issue for most people, including me. Are you planning to make the extension open source, so that users can see what’s inside and compile the source on their own?
Hm, we are still thinking about it. We have our plans on monetising that extension so opening the source code could be not an option. Thank you for your input in our research, we would like to see if other people will have something to say about it.
