Hello everyone!
Can somebody confirm this? I just tried switching from PC / Mac / Linux Standalone to iOS with a project that is not even 400MB in size. It takes a very long time.
Greetings,
Shu

Is this a regression compared to earlier versions of Unity?

Unfortunately, I can only compare to Unity way back at version 5.2.2.
In 5.2.2, projects that are about 1.5GB in size take about 5 minutes to switch platform.
Now, in 5.4.0B22*, 370MB already take more than that (about 8 minutes).
When doing the math, 5.4.0B22 takes about 4 times longer. Should be resulting in about 33 minutes with a 1,5GB project instead of 5 minutes.
*I haven’t tested this far in any other versions between .2.2 and .4B22 since this is the first more or less stable version since .2.2 for me.
EDIT:
Alright, I just stopped the time.
342MB actually took 7 minutes to change platform.
Issue is still there in B24.
