Having to select an object in the hierarchy to show the corresponding animation in the Animation Window is driving me nuts! And the Animation Window keeps jumping back to the first animation when I change the selection, it should remenber the last choice.
I would like to select an animation (State) in the Anima__tor__ window and have it become the current animation in the Anima**tion** Window.
I tried this: Unity3D: Sync the Animation window to an Animator without requiring hierarchy selection (4.6.x) · GitHub
but it doesn’t work in Unity 5 and I couldn’t get it to work.
Perhaps somebody can create a Unity 5 version of the script ?
