I’m trying to use Visual Studio 2010 to edit my scripts, but the menu item “Sync with Visual Studio” doesn’t show up !! Ive tryed to reinstall unity, clean registry, installing Express and Pro versions of VS and nothing ! The option doesn’t appear ! I’m using windows 7 ultimate x64 and the last version of Unity !
Just go to Edit>Preferences and set Visual Studio as your External Script Editor. Then use the ‘Sync with Visual Studio’.
Hope it helps.
I have the same problem with VS 2008. Setting VS as editor in the prefs don’t work. Any other ideas? Maybe it’s a bug.
Sorry just joined the forums and starting with Unity and VS 2010 Express, I have set the external editor to VS 2010 under preferences but the sync option is still for MonoDevelopProject. Can’t find any other options to change. Any suggestions?
