Syntax Error - I don't have a license

Hey guys,

Just wondering if anyone is having this problem: I keep getting a syuntax error when I try to build my game, but I should have no taxes outstanding

I’m OK withthe freee version even though it’s a little limited I still am making an awesome FPS game, I’m not doing some walking simulator kind of thing, I’m not in the group of people who make that kidno of stuff (you kjnowwho Im talking about)

So anyways, if you could let me know who to contact about syntaxes at Unity that would be GREAT!!

Thanks, I’m doing tutorials on YouTUbe so please get back to me soon

Ok I might be the most confused I have ever been…

Are you encountering a syntax error? That means you have written some code which does not quite follow the rules of the C# programming language.

Or are you having issues with… paying taxes?? Or I guess… license fees to Unity?

I feel as though there is some language-based confusion here.

Hey there, I am very well versed in taxes and syntaxes so I think I may be of help.

Because you are using the free version of Unity you are tax exempt. To make sure you avoid syntax errors you must fill out a w8 ben.

I would love to help here but I’m afraid I may be even more confused than Praetor.

If you have a syntax error, here is how to understand compiler and other errors and even fix them yourself:

If not, perhaps try cut/paste the error here in a reply, or else google it.

Also, how to report your problem productively in the Unity3D forums:

Confusion is after all our most important product.

A syntax error is a user error. You fix them yourself.

I can’t make any sense out of the rest of your post.
