Tablet advice-

So I really want a new tablet. . . And have one, but the pen is missing and its ancient.

But yeah. … What tablet could you suggest? Now one thing. . . My pockets are not large at all. So looking for like the cheap, but still fine solution until I can get something better.

oh sorry man- Mean tablet as in like “wacom tablet” and such- for drawing on a pc,.

Thx for the response though.

Oh! What’s the budget? Honestly, the Intuos4 is such a step above every other tablet, including the Intuos3, that I’d recommend saving for the small version, if you can’t afford it yet.

I’m quite fond of wacom cintiq, it’s tough to go back to a non-lcd tablet. pricey though.

Only wacom…they got no real competition, probably patented every little shit they could.
Pick Intuos 3 or 4. If you’re left handed, pick i4
i4 nibs wear faster and buttons are harder to press which is very annoying. On other hand i4 feels more precise but this is probably noticeable only by guys who spend alot of time with tablets. Size doesnt matter unless you have >27" monitor, then small tablet might not be best choice.

If you are limited on your income, then a bamboo medium does a pretty well job at least out of my “not artist professional” point of view (have one and love it).

The only alternative to the Wacom Cintiq that I could find is the P-Active XPC-1910A. I’ve had it for about nine months now and still like it. I had a few glitches with the pen when I first set it up, but it has worked just fine since. Not as good as a Cintiq, but at less than half the price of the 21ux it’s worth it IMO.

I made a little video review back in August shortly after I purchased it:

Unless you do extreme painting for a living I suggest going with the Intuous 4. Serves me very well. Lovin it.

hi again guys. Well about what I can afford. . . Well i pushing it from the very start. hehe. So yeah- A cheap on that still works.
But no dont expect to be using it to paint the most detailed mona lisa pictures. but more for smaller things that simply are easier to do on a tablet then a mouse.

But will check the mentioned products. Thx allot for the responses guys.

This thread is good for me, because I wanted to buy an entry-level tablet.
