tag problem

file= new project
name the project at the end of the last this.
then tick character controller and skyboxes and press create
go to edit and click on render settings.
in skybox material there is a little circle button click on it.
select skybox material you want
click this button to show you the sky box material.
go into game object and then create other and click on plane
select the plane in the hierarchy and then put the position of xyz to 0.
select the plane and change the scale to xyz to 10.
go to your texture folder and drag the texture to the project panel.Then drag the texture to the plane.then you want to select the plane again and change the tilling to 10 in xand y.
go into gameobject then create other and then click on the point light.
make sure point light is selected and change the position to xyz to 0.
change range to 800.Move the light up.
Move the slider left or right to adjust the brightness to your liking.
select the main camera and delete it.Go to standard assets then character controller.
Drag the firstperson controller to the scene.You might have to change the positions of xyz to 0.
Double click on the firstperson controller folder in the hierarchy to quickly zoom in on the object.
Move it up and make sure it is not touching the floor.
change the scale of xyz 1.5.
Press the play button and we are done.

When I followed this tutorial tags did not show up properly.How do I fix it?

It doesnt mention tags in the tutorial so what do you mean by:
tags did not show up properly
