We have released our first app on Google Play. Some feedback would be much appreciated.
Game Info:
Tap Tap Cube is an addictive retro 2D side scroller. You must carefully time each jump to ensure you clear spikes and gaps. If you fall or touch the spikes you will die and respawn back to the beginning of the level.
Each time you beat a level for the first time you unlock a new one each with increasing difficulty. You also earn tons of achievements for your accomplishments. Each level has unique techno/8-bit music.
From the idea to the published app it was less than 2 weeks. We have a lot planned for Tap Tap Cube including an art overhaul and tweaks to the physics and game play.
Is it the graphics that need polishing, gameplay (physics and controls), or both?
This is different than The Impossible Game.
We found The Impossible Game’s physics to heavy and fast paced. We came up with our own style that’s has more of a Mario or Megaman feel.
We added tons of achievements and secret exits to each level which you also earn achievements for.
