Target Practice - Simple FPS

This is the second game I’ve made in Unity. It took quite awhile, and though its not completed, this is as far as I’m going to go with the project. Its a fun game to burn a minute or two, unfortunately I couldn’t figure out how to add a high score table so that takes away some of the fun. I’ve come a really long way, its not great yet, but from my first game to this is quite impressive If I do say so myself.

Just letting you know, this didn’t work on my Mac, but it did on my PC. So it may not work for everyone.

Make sure to hold down alt to fit the resolution to your screen properly.
I’ll work on getting a PC download link, Its just a little complicated uploading a folder with the .data file and the exe.

Thanks,

hm, it’s not bad. Did you make the rifle model? It is very good.

Sometimes my guy would randomly tilt around on it’s side and begin moving towards the targets…

Sorry for such a late response, I had not expected anyone to respond after I left it up for a few hours.

I did, Thanks. I’m far from a good artist, so that took me around 834579348279837459827394 Hours to model.

I’m not sure why it would do that. It should do that after you select a game type, or after you win. Otherwise thats a bug.

Thank for trying it out,

I just played your game, it was fun. I didn’t sit around too long playing it. I like the background music and the motion of gun as it sway. I really like how you did the bullet follow, pretty neat idea. It’s good for your second game, I hope your luck on your other projects.

Thanks for trying it out,

good luck to you too.

Nice little game a few things to look up on.

Check on how to lock the mouse to the webplayer(right click to release the mouse or press esc is useful) or else if you move to far you move the mouse out of the player.

Add a cross hair so you know where your pointing even if its just a dot.

Freeze the time if you do the bullet zoom and have that not done all the time you hit the center of the targets or it ruins the effect.

Still very good what you made you actually made something that works and plays and reacts correctly you would be surprised how many don’t even make it that far.

thanks,
Though I dislike crosshairs in games for realism,
I couldn’t figure out the mouse thing, I didn’t know it was a big problem, thanks for pointing that out ill try to figure it out,
Your right with the bullet time thing and Illl try to figure that out.

Thanks again, It took forever to make, I still have a long ways to go though until I’m making the next indie game like hawken. Good luck.
