Target priority mode doesn’t use valid target list

Newbie here correct me if my understanding is wrong about valid list target and priority mode.
When I try to grab an object with high priority in a valid target list ray cast interaction, the object with low priority is grabbed.

Target priority mode is highest priority only

Added an XR Target Filter on the ray cast interactor with an inverted distance priority

Scene has 5 cubes with xr grab interactable behind each other.

cube(1) has low priority but getting grabbed by ray cast interactor.
