You should just be honest, bullshitting the unity forum isn’t the right way to say hello with your first post. Also, use the collab forum.
Thats not fair for you guys to judge my personal work like that. That was my attempt to keep my position and gain a promotion with Midway games. I did that by myself with no help in three days. I think it was pretty good for the time they gave me, but not good enough for them. that was many years ago.
Please, Because WB Games bought the entire MK team I was fire because of what I posted here. I came looking for help with the inside info and work-flow of their company especially the MK franchise, but many people here I see are so professional that the least experience from a one-man crew with a 3 day dead line gets shamed. Thank you everyone in the wonderful forum but if this is the kind of help that’s given then maybe I paid for my license and joined this forum in vein. Please in the future ask for more info from someone instead of mocking them. You just might learn how close they were to making it in the industry.
Why do everyone thinks that because you have a little experience with other companies you have to be lying? Game creators 3d modelers, programmers, Artist, and Sound Engineers are just regular people. Its the games and ideas that gets the company paid to to pay those REGULAR PEOPLE just like you and me. I was given Special Thanks on MK3 : Gavin Evertsen. Look it up. but that doesn’t mean i’m filthy rich and a lead programmer like ED BOON or MIKE BOON. I am trying to build my own team. what else can I say to get help. Do I leave my background out of my post, I came honest but, really from everyone’s response I should have lied to seem like a noobie. But its only fair to share what I did to be honest not shuned like a lier. Is this game engine not popular enough for everyone famous or not? please give me a break I had a chance of a lifetime, and signed up here to redeem it. If anyone understands please PM me.
Lastly I will apologize if you guys got the indication that my screen shots is my current project. Those are from my Fighting Engine which I made in 3 day with Blitz 3D. BY MY SELF. there wasn’t any other faster way I could present my 2d - 3D fighting engine in such time other than Blitz. I took it as a way for Midway sell their franchise without further addition. Hence my project in the screen shots died but the concept at the time spark bells.
