Now this is impressive. :slight_smile:

This looks like a very interesting game, and i’d love to try it out. :slight_smile:

I have so many questions i’m not sure i could list them all here :stuck_out_tongue:

I’m guessing you used unisky and the RTS pack mentioned on these forums in this project?

How did you do the selection rings?

I have a couple of RTS games in the Ideas stage in my head, but since i’m working alone, i’ll probably never get them done (I don’t personally know anyone who also use Unity)

I think the some of the models could do with some work and some texture work, Otherwise I think it looks really great and addictive! Will be looking out for the release :slight_smile:

@Anthony
I wrote all of the code myself, the selection ring was really simple. The rings are attached to the ships. When u click on the object it turns a bool called selection to true which turns the ring on, then when u click off it turns the bool and the ring off

Nice one!

It would be cool to have a little bit more action going on. I guess it would be already a big improvement if you would higher the amount of shots per minute and lower the damage they do. Would look more spectacular. :slight_smile:

yeah, we are trying to get that balance now, we are going to be adding a few more things to the game to make it more exciting and work on the particle effects to make the combat more visually pleasing.

Because we’ve only had the 10 weeks to work on the game, its sort of limited the amount of stuff that we could add, but hopefully the end product will be fun to play and nicely polished.
