Hi everyone!
I was wondering if anyone can tell me how to connect 2 terrains that have different y positions.
The normal workflow is to create one terrain and then use the “create neighbor terrains” button to create a second one which shares an edge. This will let you paint heights or splat maps across the border of the two without seams or cracks. But you don’t want to move the terrain objects once you’ve done that, the seam-fixing works on the assumption that the terrain objects aren’t moving (it’s OK if they share a common parent in the hierarchy, but their relative position needs to stay the same)
This is what was bothering me it seems. Unity creates a neighbor terrain that is not on the same y position.
