Terrain details not staying on

I am using 5.3.2.f1. I was having performance issues in the editor with having the terrain details on. I turned them off to finish my scene. Now I turn them on and they work. However when I turn them on and then change my scene (in the editor) to my log in scene, the details turn themselves back off. I tried saving the scene and the project prior to going to the log in scene but nothing seems to work. My details never show up in game.

just tested with 5.3.3.p1, same issue here…
“Tree & Detail objects : [×] Draw” gets disabled if load the scene again…

*workaround:
if you enable and disable [×] terrain collider, then it asks to save scene on exit, and the terrain settings seems to be saved…

reported as bug (774962), got reply
“We have been able to reproduce this bug and have sent it for resolution with our developers.”

“We have fixed this issue and changes should be saved starting with 5.4.0b11 version of Unity”
