I’ve just started playing with terrains in Unity and began sculpting and texturing my first terrain. I followed the tutorial and then started experimenting.
The tools are decent but throughout something has annoyed me. When I paint a texture on the terrain or sculpt the terrain, there is no brush outline and I have to paint/sculpt using the mouse pointer purely as my guide.
Having worked with other engines a lot, I feel more comfortable working with a brush outline (so you have a circular outline which indicates the affected region of the bursh on the terrain itself as your working.
I’ve gone through the docs and can’t find anything on the topic so I’m not sure whether I just need to change some settings somewhere or whether Unity simply doesn’t have brush outlines.
Can anyone help here?
