Terrain flickering shadow problem

Hi I have heavy shadow flickering issue on my terrain. The only way I could solve this is ti put Camera Near Clip on 0.5! but I can’t do that I need camera near clip to set on 0.1/

I’ve done lots of thing but still same problem! somewhere I read a post with same problem on date 2010!!! now it’s 2015 and same problem? what the hell is going on with unity??

As I understand it, it would probably have been a better choice for Unity to go with reversed Z as this allows for a better overall distribution.

I am not sure why it isn’t the case but it would be nice to know.

As for your issue, I don’t think it is solvable other than making the range smaller.

Mess with your far clip and your shadow view distances also, I had same issue and took me a while to come up with a good range for camera clipping and shadow distances, but it looks good now.

The problem is I should put far clip on 5 to solve this and I can’t do this!
I haven’t this problem on ATI graphic card! (5850) but on my Nvidia 960 have this issue.
