How do you make a terrain for unity iphone?
Theres no terrain engine on unity iphone.
Thats my only problem.
So can you tell me how any of you made your unity iphone terrain and what you used.
you use your modelling application to create a model that you use as terrain.
dynamic terrains are very memory and cpu intense and require a very special setup to work.
I used cheetah 3d and its capability to bake terrain for my last prototype terrain
I could have sworn that I read Terrain is/ was going to be supported in Unity iPhone 1.5 but for the life of me I can’t find that page and I can’t find any mention of terrain in the various “Updates” pages of the various unity iPhone versions…
Am I delusional?
I haven’t worked in iPhone for a while and there was an upgrade issue with my license that rendered my iPhone license invalid so now I can’t open Unity iPhone to go check it out for myself… So can someone please confirm for me that either I am delusional or that terrains are now supported in the current version of Unity iPhone?

'Fraid so; there’s no way a Unity iPhone update is going to make the terrain system run on an iPhone.

I finally got to the license comparison page and noticed it on there also.
Just yesterday I was raving about how:
“Unity themselves took the terrain out of the iPhone because it couldn’t handle it. So if they themselves now put it back saying it is now working than it must be optimized, now! I have faith in them”
And then today I realized I was praising them for my own delusional feature lists
