Terrain Grass + shadows = strange issues

Hello!

For some reason, my grass doesn’t seem to be affected by some shadows. In the below example, the lights with shadows enabled are behind a wall, which is blocking the lighting from hitting the outside, such as the terrain. However, the grass doesn’t seem to follow these laws, and thus aren’t “shadowed”. Then, as the lights are culled entirely (since the engine naturally thinks the light is invisible due to shadows), they flicker on the grass, since they are indeed visible on the grass.

I’ve played around with the grass and other shadows, trying to understand the fundamentals on how it functions, and I honestly have no clue how they work, seems rather buggy?
