terrain questions

Is there a way to snap terrain to certain intervals, so there will be flat terrain squares and then ones at and interval of either 45 or in between that of 22.5 degrees creating a voxelized terrain kind of only with smooth contouring and not being able to edit it in game . I will also to cut holes in terrain and make terrain go straight up or down for cliffs. I have been doing this in blender but it takes time, If I could do this in unity it would be much faster and in blender I am getting seems between cliffs and dirt and such. If teh default terrain can somehow do this that’d be great.

Edit: I just need to know if using blender is really the best way to do this,

The unity terrain is based on a heightmap and is not capable of vertical changes in elevation.
Cutting holes is alsow very difficult ( you will find some solutions in the forum if you search for “cut terrain hole”).

I have been trying to rig a character and work on other aspects of my game so i have not messed around with it much. However if it is that difficult to cut a hole in and cannot be slid vertically then I may as well stick with my method, even though it’s painfully slow it works well for what I am doing.
