I was going to use the terrain stamp tool to stamp out some square houses. Have tried a few different png pictures, a white square, and a square that is toned from white in the middle to gray on the sides to give a slant roof. Although all of them gives about the same results when I stamp with them, a pointy cone.
Is it possible to get some more defined shapes from the terrain stamp tool?
what’s the terrain resolution? generally you don’t do house from terrain, you had a mesh on top of the terrain for that.
The circular stamp with brush size 10-20 fits the width of the buildings, but not the shape.
I was going to test this for a flyer to view the houses on distance, and then LOD in some meshes in place for some houses when getting closer.
Move the building you want to stamp into position above your terrain surface.
