Terrain texture disappearing after certain distance

I’m having an issue where this happens at a certain distance:

I have found that this is determined by “Base Map Dist”, however the lower you go the lower the texture quality is and the same issue is happening just at a smaller distance.

In this image I’m using 1000 base map dist which is the default. Vysnc doesn’t effect this at all. Using 5.4 beta.

I don’t know why this is happening and it’s never happened to me before so I don’t really know how to solve it, is there any workaround if this is a bug or is this just the terrible unity terrain?

Yeap. It’s an error with 5.4.
