Hey there, I just updated my unity version, I haven’t used it in a while.
I uninstalled my old version, run ccleaner, cleared registry ect before installing the latest version.
Ive started a new project and added a Terrain. For the life of me I cannot get the basic tools to work, I cannot raise or lower the terrain. I cannot even paint a second texture on it.
Ive not used Unity since the 4. series but i’m sure it was a simple thing to accomplish…
First of all, “cleaning” the registry is completely unnecessary. Microsoft has explicitly stated that by doing so, you can cause more problems than you’ll actually fix.
To change the height of a terrain, you need to use the Raise/Lower Terrain tool, and make sure the opacity and brush size are large enough.
