Any nature material on tree prefab give same results.
With baked navmesh all trees on terrain become black in the build.

Same things… Unity rules! >:(
You have any luck with this eventually? I’m running a newer version of Unity which is causing builds to create black trees. I’ve built it over a hundred times with all different sorts of settings. Just once it worked. I’ve been unable to redo it a second time.
I see that manually placing trees does not cause this error. Only does using the terrain tree route seem to create this mess. Any help is appreciated.
