wow,unbelieveable
hugs
wow!
This is amazing! thanks for sharing it with us dude!
Thanks.
Your work is much appreciated!
Does this amazing tool work from any angle rather than just up and down?
only works on a planer mesh now, perhaps i can improve this later on…
how to use it?,i import it and no helper windows…
To be able to do this from any angle is almost the same as Y, just go along the normals might end up being z brush for unity!
Nice stuff!!
Hope we can see this available for 3d meshes in a “near” future_!_!
If you acomplish the 3d painting would be any chance to “paint” vegetation in a regular mesh, or collection of meshes?
Thanks a lot~
Pretty nice,
Try to get face normals and work on tanget space to be able to paint any kind of mesh.
also terrain shader wont work with beast lightmap (
Wow, that is really cool. I could have used something like this for my last project. I’m guessing this won’t be 2.6.1 compatible though, right? I’m not able to use 3.x at present I’m afraid.
spectacular!
it works on any mesh?
this is great!, we need it!, can’t wait! and so on!..
afraid this is only for unity3… and currently working on planer meshes. hope to get it working on all sorta types tho…
I really hope the Unity terrain will work like this. Instead of hardcoding some features arbitarily to the terrain engine. Like imposters, mesh painting and splat layer painting. The current terrain seems very ‘un-unity’ like.
Good job on recreating the features. Can you use them seperately? What would be cool is an auto splitting tool for meshes with generated lod on each chunk to get back basic terrain lodding, but with normal meshes.
WOw!!. This is simply AWESOME . The tree is a regular mesh or a tree like the UnityTerrain trees. They seem to be LODing but not sure at all. Even if the video is a bit jerky, the fps printed in teh viewport are really high. Fantastic!!!
