So I’m concerned about continuing my testing because my test device was just served a real ad. This is new, it’s always gotten test ads… I looked in my dashboard but both my old phone and this phone (which has been getting test ads) are still listed there as test devices.
Has something changed with test devices?
I don’t want to get banned from testing my game when it should be getting test ads, so afraid to go any further with testing until I hear an official response.
The next time this happens would you be able to screenshot the advertisement, create a support ticket, and send over your test device ID. As it’ll be easier to share possibly confidential information in a support ticket. In the mean time if you see ads on your test device you should be fine as long as you don’t click on them, and definitely don’t try installing the app. As long as you aren’t watching dozens of advertisements a day and frequently clicking on them you should be fine.
