Did a small scene setup to test some of the light mapping and occlusion culling:

Figured I could learn some things by using a very small scene that would run the solutions in a matter of minutes or even seconds,
just to get an idea about tweaking some of the settings.
I have to say - it really is sweet, isn’t it?! Those two features alone are going to save sooo much work, as well as improve the look of our games a LOT.
Unity 3 is shaping up to be such a beautiful engine!
And yeah, I’m with you on Unity64, too!
I’m really surprised at how the new version (betas) is holding up as far as loading some of my heavier scenes
that were really straining 2.6, so that will make it easier to wait for a 64 bit version.
Thanks for viewing!

Your Unfinished Business game is looking sweet btw
Thanks for commenting!
I get some traffic but no reports from visitors,
guess I could use some sort of feedback form on the site.
Got a lot of work to do on the game, but make some progress every week.
Did some checking on your site too, but there’s a lot there.
I could use some web design training…

Looks cool. Btw, psychicparrot I played wordsphere and its fun!
Don Gray, is there a link to where I can play this in a web player or something?
Hey, I’ve only been working on it for a year!
You think I would actually have a web player ready already?

Well, I would like to get at least one level up and running to see how people like it, but alas,
it’s all still very much in the works.
But, thanks for asking!

Hmmm, one year to the day tomorrow I hired my script writer to do my first simple script.
And actually I’m kind of stuck in limbo,
my script writer has upgraded to U3 but doesn’t want to get involved with the new version until it’s ready for prime time.
And with all the issues I’m having I’ll have to wait until he updates the scripts to work with new version.
Just enough glitches to keep things out of kilter.
