Hi
Just a quick question I cant find an answer to. Unity pro. Why is there the text: lower right screen- ‘development build’ in my published webplayer when the option is not checked in the build setup?
Is that normal?
Just wondering.
Cheers

I’ve noticed this too. It’s actually still in development mode. This is because you have to change the release channel off of development. Right click in your WebPlayer and uncheck “Development” in the menu. The WebPlayer will reload and you shouldn’t have your problem anymore.
Note: If you don’t have a context menu, you’ll have to change it to have one long enough for you to do this (File->Build Settings->Player Settings->Resolution and Presentation->WebPlayer Template). You can then change it back.
I think you can also remove that text if you uncheck development build from build setting.
You would think, but that’s where we ran into this problem. It continues to create a development build until you change the release channel for the WebPlayer. This might be a bug.
Oh I already wrote a thankyou note here, looks like it hasnt arrived yet
Thanks guys.
Yeah I disabled the development tick box and right clicking in the player window no longer brings up the menu but the text is still there.
Ben Blaut , thanks man,… will do.
Cheers
This fix doesn’t work anymore, there is no ‘development’ to untick in the menu. Any other way to get rid of this?
Edit: Found in another post, must hold ALT while right clicking!
