textmesh pro not showing in game view

Hello

My textmesh pro text is not showing in game view but it is in scene view. I’m don’t have any other textmesh pro objects, meshrenderer or ugui, I just added a canvas and didn’t change any settings, and it’s not showing. I checked and it is a ugui component.

never mind I just didn’t know how tmp works, i was trying to put the text really small on the main camera, i didn’t know the canvas was the camera for the purposes of text
