TextMeshPro text has unintended background

In the image you see that the bottom text has a background, and the above text doesn’t, they are the same prefab with different font size.

This background will also appear and dissappear depending on how much I zoom in the editor.

Changing the outline color, changes this unwanted background color as well.

I’m guessing something wrong with the shaders? Anyone know how to fix this?

This behavior is typically the result of using a Sampling Point Size to Padding ratio that is too small.
