Texture corruption with png

I have a image (attached) which when I load it into Unity it gets corrupted (see corruption.png) as you can see from the image there is nothing like that in there but attaching the image to any mesh or primative gets the orange blob. Anyone have any ideas how to sort this?

I am using the latest version of Unity 3.5.3f3

Can you please file a bug report and include your project, then we will take a look it and see if we need to fix something.

Hi I get the corruption simply by creating a new project and loading the image above, as soon as its loaded it has corruption in it.

All I do is asset import and in the preview window of the loaded texture its corrupt.

Ahh Ha! I was wondering if anyone else is having these issues. We’re having this happen on an irregular regular basis, if that makes sense. It happens often enough to be a problem, but not often enough for me to figure out whats wrong. Our problem is that things are absolutely fine, until a random change on the texture all of a sudden causes it to glitch out and become stretched pixels. Unfortunately I am converting this to iPad on Mac right now and I don’t know how to do anything on Mac or I would send a screenshot. Ill try to get one put up up here in a bit to show the texture. Basically whenever this happens though its like it is taking a 2 pixel edge of the entire graphic and then stretching that line horizontally across the entire graphic, so it just becomes colored lines stretching across the screen. :confused:

Yes I’m getting this as well. I’m using the latest version of unity and I have a green blob that I am animating however in different frames some grey pixels are appearing around the eyes. I am also using a Mac so it might be something to do with that.

happens to me every project and i never can get it to work as well so i started learning 3d unity
