texture for object

I don’t know anything about modeling so I asked my friend to do modelling for me on blender . its just a simple table for game but after he finishes . he said that he himself do not know about uv mapping he find it is very difficult so he said to ask help on unity forum so as I don’t know blender can I do uv maping on unity3d . I have the table but without texture .so i need scripts for uv mapping

Yes UV mapping or UV unwrapping as it is also often called is not the easiest thing to do for beginners in 3D, but I think it is still a lot easier to do in blender than trying to create UV coordinates in Unity.

There is also a Shader on the assetstore that does tri-planar projection to avoid the need for a UV-map:

I never used that asset and can not tell you if it is good, I’m just putting the link here for completeness sake. I think one of you guys should learn how to do this in blender, it is not that hard.

go here, I made a desk and chair, if you want a bigger table let me know I will make it for you.

I hope this will work, you may have to scale it to the size you want up or down.
