Recently upgraded to Unity 1.5, and now when I build the game to the device a few objects appear untextured. I’ve tried reimporting the meshes and textures, as well as changing a few of their import settings. I’m pretty baffled. Any ideas?
Having the same issue. They are being discussed in this thread:

What 3d modeler are you using?
Ah, wow, I totally missed that one.
I believe the models are being made in 3Ds Max, although I don’t actually model them myself.
Well, I read through that thread and, as it happens, the materials that weren’t being displayed were Bumped Specular, so after changing them to Bumped Diffuse it works again. Looks a bit crappier, but not nearly as crappy as no material at all. It’s disappointing that they managed to miss that, but hopefully there’ll be a fix before too long.
Thanks again for the help!
Yes, that is fixed already and will be out with the next release.
Problem with standard Specular material is that it contains lots of (pixel/vertex shader) code unsupported on iPhone and that freaked out the fallback mechanism in 1.5. Making you own shader using specular (or using shaders from iPhone Standard Assets) should fix the problem for now.
