Texture stretches when tiled in editor

Hi All,

Can anyone possibly tell me why this is happening:

It’s a 1024x1024 .PNG sprite texture, applied to a plane that’s 500 x 1 x 500 in size.

With the material’s tiling set at 1 + 1 the texture appears fine but anything higher (the screenshot is 2 + 2) stretches the texture out, at higher amounts (I’m likely aiming for 100 or more) it’s all just a blur.

I have other objects like this with different textures that are working fine and I’ve recreated the object, material and the texture with no success.

Any advice would be appreciated, thank you.

You have to set the wrap mode to repeat. You can do this if you set your sprite’s type to advanced or texture.
