Hey, I have a texture that has transparent parts. When the camera is close to it, i can see the texture fine (non transparent parts) but when the camera moves back slightly, the texture/material disappears. Does anyone possibly know a way to fix this
As you can see in the image, the side closest to the camera can see the texture but the other side can’t. It is not related to do with the angle as I can look straight at it while walking back and forth, and the texture will be visible/invisible.
What rendering mode are you using (on your shader)? Is it Cutout? Try Transparent instead.
Im using the URP lit. I dont know a lot about the shader stuff, but is the transparent / cutout a part of the legacy?
Oh it’s URP, sorry. And I’m not sure about the built-in rendering being legacy, at least it’s not called like that officially yet. Especially when none of the SRPs are actually near being feature-complete.
Anyway, for URP, make sure Surface Type is Alpha and turn off Alpha Clipping. Those are basically the same features called differently.
edit: I used this reference to help me quickly navigate the options.
