Just updated to UNity 1.5 for iPhone and it’s running crazy fast. ONly thing is, last night I recompiled my project and all the textures looked just as they always had. Today I just made a few updates to some player variables, nothing that would effect the visuals (changes to hit points, armor, etc…) and now all the scenes have textures that look very, very pale.
Anyone come across this? What is causing it? How do I get rid of it? NOTHING has changed with the textures, lighting, or models, so what is it?
Well, I compiled the project and ran it on my ipod. The textures look fine there which is good, but I can’t get why the textures on my stage look so washed out. Since the power of Unity is it’s WISYWIG nature, it’s troubling that what I see in Unity is not a close approximation of what is going on in the actual game.
It looks like a bug to me, can you please create a small project that reassembles that issue and fill in a bug report?, it would also help if you add descriptions of your hardware specs, screenshots and what you are doing/trying to achieve.
OK. I changed the emulation to none. That darkens everything. I haven’t upgraded to Snow Leapord yet so haven’t experienced the gamma issue yet. Plan on upgrading soon. I just always dread upgrades since you just never know what it’s going to nerf on your system.
