Textures Not Being Assigned Correctly On Model Import

Somebody help me understand what is going on here.
I have a keypad built in Max that has the proper textures assigned (A-Z), 26 objects named A-Z as well, so each object has the name of the letter and the texture with the name of the letter as well.
This worked fine when used in Unity 2.6.1, all the objects cam into Unity with the proper textures assigned, no problem.
I’m just getting around to rebuilding the imported model in Unity since only parts of it moved when it was animated (keypad is on another object).
Now the problem:
When I import the model into Unity 3.0.02f (and 1f as well, haven’t tried any earlier versions) all the object names are correct (A-Z) but only the textures “P” “U” “Z” are assigned to the objects, “P” is assigned to the first twenty objects, “U” to the next five and “Z” to the last object.
I’ve deleted all references to the model in the Unity project (deleted files and folders) but still the same thing.
ANYONE have ANY idea?

And of course, parts of the model are offset as mentioned in other post, which no one responded to.

Hmm it should be ok, if you drop the texture BEFORE the export in your Unity project.
But if you drop it after the export, unity will broke this connection…

It could also come from your material if you are using custom one.
But I do not use 3dsmax when working with Unity then I do not have much experience with it…

I am assigning the textures in Max and importing with the same textures as I have always done but this has somehow become corrupt in the latest builds. I have deleted the FBX file and folder from the project and tried and tried again but still these three textures are assigned instead of the 26. The object names are correct but he textures assigned are strangely off.

Could you post your model (or send it in PM to me)? I need to see it for my self

Sorry, received no notification of your response, Paulius.
Will send the model after work once the day settles down.

I heard that there are issues with notifications since the switch to new forum software. We are working on that.

Uh, seems something in my FBX export settings was the problem,
I reset the to default AD Media and Entertainment settings and now the objects are textured correctly.
Thanks for making me take a closer look at this!
