The Unite 2007 conference was Awesome !
Thanks to David and the Unity team for a great three days !
It is amazing that you were able to launch v2.0 and focus on the conference.
Hats of to all the great presentations by fellow Unity users ! Some truly amazing stuff !

I’ll second that; it was a great conference. There are a lot of really talented folks out there doing some really cool stuff in Unity. The real value was in meeting the people and seeing everything in person. The UT folks (formerly OTEE folks) were very accessible and helpful. It’s obvious they are committed to making a quality product and responding to user needs.

For anyone wondering whether this event will be worth attending next year, the answer is a definite yes. :smile:

I third this! An excellent, excellent gathering! Hats off to the UT gang for putting it together. Can’t wait until the next one!!!

Unite 2008, location and time TBD. It will happen… Now that I’ve had a good night’s rest I’ll start putting my mind to it. It was worth every ounce of effort we put into it.

I’ll definitely be there next year. And it seems only fair that be across the pond. I hear Copenhagen is a fun town!

It was a great conference. I learned a lot about shaders, reflections and optimization. Also just meeting people in person is great.

I would love an excuse to go to Copenhagen or Rome or Barcelona. I figure I may have to wait until 2010 for Tokyo, Soeul or Taipei, but that is OK I like traveling.

I would suggest Albuquerque as the site for the next conference, because…well, I…um, live here. :slight_smile: And we have fresh green chili…

are any of the presentations from the conference online? it was a great conference and wanted to share some of it with colleagues. it has created a lot of interest in the academic community

Not yet. I’ve now got all (minus one slacker!) presentations in hand, the videos are getting prepared and it should all go up in the next week or two.
