The c# scripts button is not there, what do I do?

Today I installed unity and created a new project and I wanted to create a script and the create button was not there, please help me

If they were able to screenshot it it wouldn’t be missing. :stuck_out_tongue:

Joking aside we do need more info. Are you referring to the button that appears on GameObjects? Are you referring to right-clicking in the Project Window?

You’re on a gamedev forum, you should know as well as anyone that people will miss things that are right in front of their face 99% of the time.

in Unity 6 its called monobehaviour script, in the create menu at least…

update: I already found a way to create a script, I’m just starting to want to program but thanks to everyone who responded to me

Ahhh, thank goodness I found your comment, bro. I recently started learning to program, and I’ve spent more than two hours trying to find the button to create a script, since in all the tutorials it’s called C# script. Hahahaha

me too, i was looking everywhere for it, then i found out its in the scripting section.
